Hello,
I am using my BQ2005 to charge two battery packs comprised of
4 x 1.2V 4.5aH cells
so 4.8V packs, times 2.
My issue is that my DCMD discharge cycle is happening at the start when I do not want it to.
I left this pin not tied to anything as I was informed that would leave it tied to VCC internally however it still goes to discharge right away and wont charge. I am letting it discharge to try and let the cycle finish so It will go into the next charging cycle however, IT is well below the EDV now it is at 2.07V and dropping.
What is causing this issue I am not using any timing pins as such the following pins are not tied to anything;
DCMD, TM1, TM2, DVEN.
