Hey Guys,

Is OUT2 on figure 11 on page 17 correct for the TLC591?

When OE goes low shouldn't OUT2 be low too? I'm not sure if it's just the lettering on the chart or if this is actually how it responds.

I believe you are correct. OUT2 should also go low. I don't work on this part, however, so I've contacted someone who can say more definitively. I will keep you posted.

Hi David,

Keep in mind that the TLC5916 has a shift register. The clock at 0 corresponds to a SDI= high. That value starts at output 0, but after every clock cycle the value is pushed to output1, then output 2, all the way to output 7.

This means that SDI at clock 7 corresponds to output 0.
