Dear Experts,

Have you experienced the LMZ10501 output collapsing? Under what conditions would the output collapse other than thermal shutdown? We are suspecting the in rush currents due to sudden increase in the load. Has anyone experienced such phenomenon with this device? Would increasing the cap at the Vcon pin help?

Below are some waveforms for 0.95V output.

Do you have the schematic of your design? What is the waveform on the scope indicates (Channels)?

Hi Arief,

Here you go as attached.

On the scope shots, blue is the LMZ output, yellow is the LMZ output current. The rest is most likely the enable signals of some loads at the output. From these signals, it is pretty much clear that the there is an inrush current problem that LMZ is not able to cope with and its output collapses.
