I submitted two data files for two different flavors of lead acid batteries and I was wondering as to why I got not response. The tool when I did not provide the files in the format it was looking for emailed back that the names were wrong.

Is there an email address that can be used to find out what the difficulty is?

Hi Richard,

The responsed email will tell you what is wrong in your file, all the format including the file name,the whitespace,etc., will influence the result of chemID. So could you give a screenshot of your emai back, that I can check for you.

I got help with getting a chemical ID for one of the two batteries I am working with, but Ben seems to be busy or out of office. I was wondering if another TI employee could look at the data I collected for that battery. My original file for that battery I pasted two runs together and so I reran it. I also used the averaged current output from the gauge chip and so reran it per Ben's feedback.

I can check your data, so please attach it to the message. You can also try submitting it to the GPCCHEM toolfor a quicker response.

Thanks for the response. Ben provided a way to send the data itself via a link without posting it here in the forum. I have tried the GPCCHEM tool each time before asking for help and for whatever reason it does not seem to answer back. If there is something obvious that I could change it would be helpful to know that.

It did reply back when I had obvious errors like a missing file or one named incorrectly. However once I fixed that, it accepts the files and does not provide results. I have seen other postings where TI help of some form was needed to get the tool to provide a best case fit so perhaps that's the case in some cases.

I modified the files to remove the initial discharge and resubmitted them to the GPCCHEM calculator. Since its been more than an hour, I suspect it will not unaided by expert TI help provide an answer. I attached the updated file to the link you provided previously.
