For BQ24041, is there any way to design for the function to stop charging when battery is full without fuel gauge chip?

    HI Hong,

    The bq24041 will terminate charge according to the resistor on the Pre-Term pin. Charge termination current will be some percentage (between 5 and 50% of Icharge).

    You can also disable the charger by pulling the TS pin to ground.

    Please disregard the previous comment. It was brought to my attention that I made a mistake in reading the datasheet. My above post is true for the bq24040, but not the 24041. The /bat_en pin can disable the charger. However, the charger should still terminate charge at termination current
