Relation Ta and Tj of TPS61093-Q1

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61093-Q1

Hi

The datasheet of TPS61093-Q1 is written that Ta and Tj is -40 ~-125℃ in "7.3 Recommended Operating Conditions".
But when Ta was 125℃, I think Tj is over 125℃.
So, is this case out of recommending operating conditions?

Best regards,
Yokota

  • I do not directly support TPS61093-Q1, but I can make a general comment. When the ambient temperature approaches the maximum recommended junction temperature, you will need to derate the allowable power dissipation of the device. So when Ta = 125 C, then the allowable Pdiss = 0 W and Ta = Tj = 125 C.
