LM5175: Use LM5175 with variable output voltage / output current

I want to use LM5175 to charge a battery at constant voltage and current

I also need to be able to set the output voltage and output current variable.

Is it possible to use an external operationnal amplifier to adapt the regulation at the level I need and to go directly to COMP pin.

That means NOT using internal LM5175 amplifier with 0.8V threshold

Hi Xavier,

Please see a concept schematic of LM5175 with both VOUT and IOUT controllable. The key is to make sure that only one of them is active at a time. I also suggest going to feedback pin rather than COMP.
