LM53603-Q1: Output voltage range

Hi,

The datasheet has following comment;

The maximum recommended output voltage is 6 V. An extended output voltage range to 10 V is possible with changes to the typical
application schematic. Also, some system specifications will not be achieved for output voltages greater than 6 V. Consult the factory for
further information.

How do specifications change when output voltage is above?

My customer is considering to set output voltage into 7.2V.

Kuramochi-san,

LM53603-Q1 has built in slope comp as well as loop comp and their requirement will change based on output voltage .

You may refer to the table mentioned on page 20 of LM53603-Q1 datasheet , for confiuring the output to 7.2V . Refer to 8V segment for choosing COUT,L,CFF and RFBT(calculate RFBB based on 7.2V output) .

I'm understanding that there is no degrading characterization for configuring the output to 7.2V.
Is it correct?

Kuramochi-san,

No Degrading on specification . You can still get 3A output without any issues .
