Hi,
I had an issue with my setup. LDOs in my Launchpad (TLV700) and custom-made booster-pack (TPS780) has been burned-out due to my mistake - I had plug-in power supply with reverse voltage to +5V/GND rail, I assume, internal MOSFETs on all connected devices were destroyed by very high current (>40A capable power source). Now all LDOs provide 3.7V instead of 3.3V. So, how can I protect such devices in the future? Should I use external powerful P-MOSFETs? How can I eliminate current leakage and voltage dropout in such a setup?
Thanks,
Alexey
