Hi,

The SM72445 has adjustable PWM frequency but it's not obvious to me what the diffference is between the SM72441 and SM72442. Can you explain please?

Could you explain why the PM_OUt signal is pulsed and not a staight DC level? What have I missed?

    Hi Marc,

    The main difference is that the SM72441 has no PM mode operation.

    The PM_OUT is pulsed because in the original application, the gates of the PM FETs are controlled through a small transformer and rectified on the output.
