Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61099
Hi All, Can someone please confirm that for this series (TPS6122x) of boost converters a voltage will always appear on the output (i.e. the battery voltage is effectively passed through), irrespective of the state of the Enable pin?
Which is what I'm reading from the manual i.e.
'This means that voltage is always present at the output, which can be as high as the input voltage or lower depending on the load.'
So this device cannot be used to entirely switch-off the power to the load?
If this is correct, I'd appreciate help identifying a very low quiescent current device that is able to boost 3.3 volts to 5 volts (at, at least 200mA), whilst being able to be completely shut off power to the load. Many thanks, Ron.
