TPS25910: TPS25910 ILIM tripped

What are the behaviors of the TPS25910 when ILIM is tripped? Does continuously go into auto-retry or does it maintains pre-set current limit value till the device goes into thermal shutdown? Are these sequential behaviors?

Hi Jaime,

The TPS25910 device operates in power-limit mode during an overload condition and increases the voltage drop across the power switch. Eventually the device goes into thermal shutdown when the die temperature exceeds 160°C.
After the device has cooled down by approximately 20°C, it attempts to tun ON again. The device continuously go into auto-retry mode.
