Hi Team,

Our customer would like to use the following conditions(separate “VIN” and " regulation voltage(VREG)").

Because, Maximum VREG is 6.2V so this voltage is higher than the recommended operating conditions of VIN.

Could you please let us know if you have any concern?

[Conditions]

-VIN=3.0V

-VREG=0.5V to 6.2V

-IOUT= TBD

-VOUT=around 3.3V

This device can't support separate the two input voltage. for your input/output condition, you need to select buck boost converter or a boost + a boost. TPS61200 is not suggested.

I understand that TPS61093 can separate “VIN” and “VREG”.

Why is TPS61200/01 not usable?

We would like to know the reason.

it is related to the control topology. the TPS61093 bases on peak input current control. while TPS61200 has input voltage feed-forward loop. so the input voltage can't be seperated
