My customer is considering UCC27524A-Q1 and has a question.

Could you please advise?

UCC27524A-Q1 is defined output pulsed source/sink current (0.5 µs) at Absolute Maximum Ratings as 5A.

At this time, how is allowable repetition frequency(Hz)?

Thank you for your interest in the UCC27524A-Q1 driver. Although there is no specific maximum frequency, from Figure 15 on the device datasheet you can see data up to 1MHz. Please let me know if there is a specific frequency that the customer is targeting.

In general, since this is a low-side driver, there is not the same concern with a refresh rate for the driver supply as there would be with a bootstrap supply on a half-bridge driver. I do suggest good power supply bypassing per sections 10 (Power Supply Recommendations) and 11 (Layout) in the datasheet.

I talked about the customer with your answer.

The datasheet(P.6), ISNK/SRC Sink/source peak current(1) is ±5 A at the condition of CLOAD = 0.22 μF and FSW = 1 kHz.
This is the answer the customer wanted.
