LM5175: CCM DCM operation

Part Number: LM5175
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5116, LM25119

Hi

We found some phenomenon on LM5175EVM.  Could you give me any advice about the following question?

1. In the following waveform, the SW1 and SW2 are switching at same time.

I do not understand why the both of the SW node are synchronized. Is that normal operation?

2. We found some reveres current after startup when the MODE pin is connected to VCC. (CCM)

However the reverse current does not occur at DCM mode. Is there any condition to occur the reverse current?

3. In my understanding, the diode emulation mode does not operate at CCM mode even if the load current is zero.

    Is that correct?

4.Regarding the threshold of DEM, in the datasheet it is mentioned that the diode emulation operates when the inductor current reaches to zero.

How does this device detect the inductor current?  (CS pin?)

5.  Also is there any threshold of the SW node voltage if this device detect at the sw node voltage?

For example, LM5116 has the threshold of the sw zero cross on the datasheet.

Please let me know if you have any question.
