LM5066I: PI commander crashes when selecting LM5066 or LM5066I

The PI-Commander software crashes as soon as I select an LM5066 or LM5066I device. This is with Windows 7. It works fine when selecting LM25056 and LM5064. Is this a known bug?

I've used the similar SPM GUI program for the LM5066, but it doesn't support the LM5066I, which has some differences (especially the b,m,r coefficient calculations).

Uninstall and try downloading the latest PI-Commander version from www.ti.com/hotswap . The earlier version had issues with the LM5066, which was the latest of the series to be designed. Delete the drivers and install new ones as I think the drivers needed to be the latest also.

Hi,

I uninstalled the program and the drivers, rebooted my machine, then reinstalled using the latest download from the website. My Windows Startup menu looks exactly like the pdf provided.

It still crashes when I select the LM5066 or LM5066I. It works fine when I select any other devices, such as the LM25066, LM5056, LM5064. Note that I'm not connecting to a board--I'm running offline.
