Hi,

We got a question from customer about TPS60401-Q1.
Could you help us?

Is there any possibility the audible noise is occurred? They concern 20kHz switching frequency that is audible range.
They need Q100 rated and Ta=-40 to 125C. So they can't use other device like TPS60403-Q1.

Hi Tateo,

It looks like there is a typo on the product page. I will clarify this.
Based on the DS you can use the TPS60403-Q1 as well with the -40 to 125C.

Thank you for your reply. I checked package information in datasheet. The operating temp range is -40 to 85C. Is this information typo?

Thank you for your support. They consider to use TPS60403-Q1. But they would like to know whether there is any possibility the audible noise is occurred by TPS60401-Q1.

I am not aware of any audible noise complaint with this family. The power and voltage ripple are so low that the capacitors don't resonate.
