TPS51218: About 0.1uF Capacitor and 100ohm resistor of function in Figure20

Hi,

Besically, the R and C is not needed for the regulator design, just you can calculate the Vout follow reference desgin, delete R-100 and 0.1uf.

and route FB/FB-GND differential line from Vout and Vout-GND back to IC.

According to your comment, I understand that we can delete 100ohm and 0.1uF even if we design the remote sensing circuit.

Is my understanding correct?

If yes, why is “100ohm and 0.1uF” placed in Figure20?

Does an evil not occur even if those parts aren't placed?

Yes, I think 100ohm and 0.1uf can be deleted for application.

Actually, I have no idea about why these two components showed in the layout guide, This part is an old mature part, you can see the EVM design, reference design in DS and simulation tool design are all not mounted these circuit. I checked some innner database but have not found any issue related to this circuit as well.
