BQ24401: bq24401 / Maximum charge voltage

Hi,

I’m not sure why these value is different though both devices are for NiMH 4cell max in product list in TI.com. Or is this typo in either one of the two?

bq2000x charger can charge both NiMH battery and Li-ion battery. So, the output range can be up to 20V. Customer can set any charging voltage lower than the maximum charging voltage.

Hi Wang,

Thank you for your comment. In the case of NiMH, we can use with more than 4 cells if it does not extend abs max of device.
