TPS54519: Using method of TPS54519

I got the questions from my customer about TPS54519.

Could you tell me the following questions?

1. If I require control of the EN pin by CPU, can I control TPS54519' Enable by using open drain or open collector output logic?

2. Are "fc" of the equation 17, 18 and "Fco" of the equation 37 the equivalent?

3.Could you tell me calculating method of the Gpwrstg?

Hi Yokota,

1. Yes you can. The EN pin has internal pull-up.

2. Yes. It is the cross over frequency.

3. Gpwrstg is approximately gmps/(2*pi*fc*Cout) , but it is not accurate because gmps is not a constant value if slop compensation is considered. so we recommand you to use the simulation model to simulate the accurate value. In the datasheet example, it is -9.79dB by simulation. you can find the simulation file here: www.ti.com/.../slvmbs8
