Hi
Our customer is requesting data about current consumption (min, typ, max) of TPS2115A-Q1.
Do you have it?

Hi na na78,
We have a lot of supply and leakage current specs in the datasheet, and all typical numbers are already based on data we have taken during characterization for the device. What current spec is the customer concerned about?
Thanks,
Alek Kaknevicius
Hi Alek
Thank you for your reply.
They are asking supply current of blank part (min/typ) of the datasheet spec.
- Supply current from IN1 (operating) in every test condition
- Supply current from IN2 (operating) in every test condition
- Supply current from IN1 (standby) in every test condition
- Supply current from IN2 (standby) in every test condition
The purpose of it is that they get the minimum, typican and maximum
current consumption of load that connected to main source.
If these data have not been exsisting unfortunately, it is OK. Please tell me accordingly.
Then if possible, could you please tell us why min/typ data is not on the datasheet?
BestRegards
Hi na na78,
Since these devices were made over 10 years ago, we do not have a large amount of data to guarantee minimum or typical specs. In general, we do not usually list minimum values in our datasheets since we only test for the maximum values when testing the devices before shipment. For many of the currents that do not have typical numbers, the maximum is only 1uA, and this is already pretty low.
For some of the typical values not listed in the datasheet, you can refer to the typical graphs (figures 10-13).
Thanks,
Alek Kaknevicius
