Hi Ross,

The ILIM resistor R6405 value should be between 100k and 200k.

The C6422 value may need to be increased. The value can be updated based on the bode plot measurement.

Hi Qian,

Typically automotive customers do not like to have resistor values above 100K on the board - leakage is a big concern along with dendritic growth. What would you advise here, taking the 100K max resistor value into account?

For C6422, do you have a figure in mind? I appreciate the advice re. the Bode plot, but wanted to speed this up for the customer if possible?

Hi Ross,

If so, the 158ohm should be fine for RLIM resistor. It will set OC to the highest value (around 6.6A).

For C6422, 180pF is used on the EVM. I think the same value can be used as a starting point.

Hi Ross,

I was told by team that with 158ohm RLIM resistor, the OC threshold could be close to 10A.

If this OC threshold is too high for customer, please use the largest value allowed in the application for RLIM.
