Hello i use a lot of yours products. Now i wanna use LM5134 but first i want to simulate my circuit. I have a problem with the simulation model i want to simulate it on altium designer.

This is the problem can you help me please :

Hi Ilia,

I can't really make out the error. What tool are you using the model in? What simulation are you running on the model?

I have download this file LM5134A Unencrypted PSpice Transient Model then i convert the file into .ckt file then i used LM5134A_TRANS transient model. Is there any reason the model cant work on ALTIUM DESIGNER. I am running transient analyse.I will be glad if you can give me some tips how to use macro models of TI's products because i have started a couple of projects and i need to simulate some of the elements before i use them in my circuits.

Ilia,

The models are built in PSpice using generic building blocks which can be imported into PSpice compatible simulators. However not all simulators are compatible with PSpice completely. The only suggestions I can provide are documented here: e2e.ti.com/.../3122.importing-ti-s-spice-models-into-tools-other-than-pspice-and-tina-ti

However since TI can not support native simulation in Altium, I would recommend using TINA-TI instead to simulate this device. TINA-TI is a free simulator from TI and you can import the unencrypted model into the tool. If you are new to TINA-TI, you may benefit from going through this short training series: training.ti.com/tina-ti-video-training-series
