    Thank you for your interest in TI the UCC27524A1-Q1. I am an application engineer with TI and will work to resolve your questions.
    The UCC27524A1-Q1 and the UCC27524A-Q1 are both automotive qualified to AEC-Q100. The UCC27524A1-Q1 has the polyimide layer added based on customer requests. The UCC27524A-Q1 does not have this polyimide layer.
    This added polyimide layer will further enhance the device in harsh environments.
    We would recommend using the UCC27524A1-Q1 for new designs.
