TLC59401: Software-Adjustable Max Current

Hi Team,

Regarding the TLC59401, is it possible to make the maximum current software-adjustable, rather than forcing the user to swap resistors on the Iref pin? Could I accomplish this by driving Iref with a DAC directly instead of using a resistor?

Hi, Brian,

The voltage of Iref PIN is constant(V(IREF) = 1.24 V) when power up. So you cannot use DAC directly to this PIN since it will cause unstable for internal loop.
