BQ24075T termination details

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24075T

The BQ24075T terminates after voltage regulation mode is reached and then the charge current drops to ~ 10% of the programmed fast-rate charge current.

I have a situation where there are short current pulses on the battery current (seen through the charger current path) that cause the charger to fail to terminate. The average charger current is @ ~ 5% of the fast charger rate and the "pulses" of current transiton to ~ 20% of the fast charge rate every ~ 10msec (the pulses are for ~ 100usec).

How does the BQ24075T determine when the charge termination has occured? is there a time window where the current is sampled?
