TL2843B: switching, negative

Hi~

Customer is under evaluating with TL2843B but undershoot at switching node was not improved and measured around -2.2V as maximum level.

Competitor device has same symptom and they want to get confirm it looks no problem.

Would you please advise if it may cause problem? can we also give confirm?

Let me correct question, TL2843B, 6 pin, OUT pin has above waveform, and derating failed.

Can you attach the schematic, or at least the portion of the sch around the TL2843B and in particular the DRV pin. What FET part is being driven by the IC? What is the power stage topology?

This has been answered in email. We need to make sure that is measured right at OUT and Ground pins of IC with proper technique like tip and barrel probe tip and common mode inductor on scope probe cable. If after proper measurement it OUT goes more than -0.3v then yes it is concerning. That could just be artificial noise from pickup on the probe ground or noise that is not real signal on the Ic. Let's consider this closed.
