TPS40400: TPS40400 maximum output current

Part Number: TPS40400

Dear TI Members.

TPS40400  maximum output current default is 10A on datasheet.

BUT our customer said that TI member guaranteed that if disable PMBUS, the default is 12A.

Could you have some data  let us refer the information is correct or not?

    Julian,

    The default is 30mV for the current sense. This does not change if the PMBUS is used or not. Yes using the PMBUS this value can be changed. The actual value of the current limit is determined by this voltage divided by DCR of the inductor (in case DCR sensing method is used)
