TPS65235: Internal FET and gate driver in TPS65233/TPS65235?

Team,

Customer wants to use TPS65233 but just has the TPS65235-EVM for now.
- Do the internal FET and gate drivers have the same switching loss characteristics?
- Can the TPS65233 be evaluated with the TPS65235-EVM?
- We have seen that the coil on TPS65235-EVM and TPS65233-EVM have a very different value. Does it has a lot of influence in the efficiency when comparing TPS65233 and TPS65235 under the same Vin/Vout/Iout condition?

    Hi,

    TPS65235 is a new part, compare with TPS65233, it has different package, Fsw support 1MhZ, support DiseqC2.x.

    1. Yes, it has almost same switching loss under same Fsw.

    2. No, it has different pakage and pin out.

    3. What is the meaning of coil? different external components? it has small influence on efficiency.
