TLV62084: No 3.3v on the output, instead getting 1.6v

Part Number: TLV62084

We've implemented the reference design as per the guidelines in the circuit.

The 5V output is working fine at output terminal of TPS61230DRC, but the output on the TLV62084DSGR is coming as 1.6v.

I've attached the schematic below. Any guidelines please?

Hi User,

Please look at Vin, Vout, and SW with a scope. Do you have any load?

The 4x 100uF Cout is well above what is recommended in the D/S. Why do you use so much?

Apparently, the technician soldering the components fried the chip the first time. After reworking the board, it's working as expected.

Hey Chris,

the 3.3v line is recommended by ST's microcontroller designs. That's used by default on our boards if we're using a STM32 microcontroller. The circuit was not working as the soldering wasn't done properly. After replacing the IC, the issue was resolved. Apparently 3 boards had the same issue.
