GASGAUGECHEM-SW: missing chemID 2046

Hi Onyx,

for testing I have BatteryManagementStudio complete uninstalled,

installed BMStudio Version 1.3.52 (ChemVers. 472). The screen shot

shows the Panasonic NCR18650BL with ChemID 2046. Then uninstalled

and replaced by BMStudio Version 1.3.54.1 (ChemVers. 599) ChemID 2046

does not appear.

Supplement:

I'm going back to BMStudio Version 1.3.52 (ChemVers. 472) to program ChemID 2046,

but now the ID2046 was not longer displayed.

Hi Onyx,

I think I've found the problem. After installation all is ok and you can see the ChemID 2046.

(also with older version from bqStudio)

To work with my gasgauge I copied the file 4500_2_08-bq40z50R2.bqz in the bqStudio\conifg path.

After I've done that, the ChemID disappears.

Does that mean bq40z50 in Rev.2 does not support this cell? That would not be good....

What can I do now?

Hi Hans,

I see the same problem you see when I start an instance of bqstudio and select the bq40z50-R2. I have reached out to our tools team to look into this and i will get back to you once from them.

sorry, that did not help. I think the problem is not this file.

The suffix "-20C" has been removed in file, is that the same column in register "chemestry programming" under description?

Because it is still standing here.

If I choose 4500_1_06-bq40z50R1.bqz, I can see the ChemId 2046, but if I choose 4500_2_08-bq40z50R2.bqz

the ChemId disappears.

thank you for response.

In meantime I have replaced data for testing of ChemId 2050 through 2046 in file chemdat.txt.

I can determine following changes in .gg file:

- System Data\Integrity\Static Chem DF Signature

- Gas Gauging\Turbo Cfg\ High Frequency Resistence

- and total content of RaTable without flag

Do you think, I can start a lerning cycle with this changes?
