LM5111: Absolute Maximum Rating of OUT A and OUT B

Part Number: LM5111

Dear Specialists,

My customer is considering LM5111 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

---

I'd like to know the Absolute Maximum Rating of OUT A and OUT B.

The datasheet is not described.

Are these the same of VCC to VEE?(-0.3 to 15V)

OUT A and B is considerable 5.25V to 5.5V, at this time, is there a possibility of breakdown.

---

I appreciate your great help.

Best regards,

Shinichi

  • Hi Shinichi,

Thanks for you question on LM5111. I will help to solve your issues.

In 'Pin Functions' of the DS OUT_A and OUT_B have a Voltage swing from VCC to VEE. OUT Abs Max rating is restricted by VCC Abs max rating.

The recommended bias supply voltage range (and therefore OUTA/B) for LM5111 is from 3.5 V to 14 V. The upper end of this range is driven by the 15V absolute maximum voltage rating of VCC and the lower end of this range is driven by the 2.8V UVLO threshold.

5.5V is an acceptable voltage on OUT_A or OUT_B.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Jefferey,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand recommended supply voltage of LM5111 is from 3.5V to 14V and absolute maximum voltage range is 15V.

I'll inform these information to the customer.

I appreciage your great help and cooperation.

    Best regards,

    Shinichi
