TPS61236P: in Parallel to increase current

Part Number: TPS61236P

Hey

I want to boost the voltage from a lipo battery to about 5V and i need to draw current wit peaks up to maximum 7A (in normal conditions peaks up to 4A)

Does it make sense to link two or more TPS61236P in parallel in order to increase the current that can be drawn?

Did I do it correctly in the following drawing or can it be done with considerably less components?

  • you can use the CC pin function to limit the output current of each device.
even though the current sharing between the two device still is a concern. because you just have to voltage source in parallel.

why do you need this high output current?
