We need to use this device in automotive environment.
But the maximum input voltage for the device is only 20V dc.
Is safety to use or we need to Insert surge protective circuits.
In this case what you suggest?
We were thinking to use insert a TPS25940 eFuse from the battery and the TPS8213 to protect it from the voltage surge
that may be generated in an automotive plant due to load dump and other reasons.
Do you think this can be a solution to prevent overvoltages from damaging the TPS8213
