BQ2022A: Problem when reprogramming

Part Number: BQ2022A

Hi Team,

My customer is going to use the bq2022A for one of their projects and recently they informed me that they are having problems when reprogramming the BQ2022A one they already programmed it. They shared that when they read the EPROM memory, it changes the when they reprogram. Below are screenshots.

As you can see, the values change in the second programming. I hope to hear your thoughts on this.

Thanks!

  • Hi Alfred,

The device is designed for OTP (One Time Programmable) only, which means it can be programmed only once; after it's programmed, all "0" bit can't be changed back to "1", but all "1" bit still can be changed to "0"; your second write and read show the correct response.

    Thanks!
