Team, 

Please help address my customer's questions:

I want to modify the parameters on the LM5118EVAL board. I am not sure the TI experts will have any concerns:

 

  1. At EN pin, I will put an RC network so that I can control when it is on and when it is going to be off.
  1. At Comp pin, I want to remove other R,C components and inject a rectified AC signal, so that the system can form a APFC function.
  2. Do you have 100V option?

    Hi Viktorija,

    Below are my comments.

    1. At EN pin, I will put an RC network so that I can control when it is on and when it is going to be off.
    -Please to not add the diode. I am not sure what the purpose of D4 is. Using a resistor divider and capacitor is fine to set when the device starts switching. Please be aware that the UVLO pin needs to be above it's specified threshold voltage for the LM5118 to start switching.

    2. At Comp pin, I want to remove other R,C components and inject a rectified AC signal, so that the system can form a APFC function.
    -What do you meant by "APFC" function?

    3. Do you have 100V option?
    -There is no 100V version of this device.

    Based on your questions I am not sure what the application is, can you please explain what you are trying to achieve?
