BQ34Z100-G1: Does "IT ENABLE" (0021) prevent Data Flash writes?

It seems like you cannot write to Data Flash memory after you execute an IT ENABLE command.  Is that true?

    Hi Kevin
    If you had sealed the device in the past, the device can never return to a permanently unseal state. If you unseal the gauge and make changes to data flash, if you sent the reset command or the IT enable command, that will seal the gauge back up and you will be unable to make changes to data flash, unless you unseal the gauge again.
