Hi Team,

could you please make a proposal which part (TPS61158 and TPS61169) has the better efficiency.

Customers requirements:

- Input voltage (LiIon): 3,0V to max. 4.2 V

- 9 WLED in series (25V/10mA, max. 27,5V)

Hi Martin,
Usualy, lower swithing frequency has higher effieicney, TPS61158 has lower swithing frequency and you could use higher inductance, it may has higher efficiency.

Hi Martin,
I'm afraid we don't have simulation tools for that. I said lower frequencey has lower power loss is based on calculations, you must have experience as well. Also, you could give a try on both EVMs to get more information.
