TPSM846C23DEVM-807: TPSM846C23DEVM-807

Part Number: TPSM846C23DEVM-807

Hi

I am testing the TPSM846C23DEVM-807 evaluation board. I am using a power supply rated 0-35V, 45A connected via 500mm cable to input terminal of TPSM846C23DEVM-807. From TPSM846C23DEVM-807 output to DC load, i am using 8AWG cable connected to one set of Vout terminal and Pgnd of TPSM846C23DEVM-807 to DC load that can support 100A. I am trying to vary load from 0A to 70A at 1.8V output but it stops at 22.5A and I cannot go higher.

Can you tell me if this is a cable issue as I have crimped pin terminal lugs to one end connected to Vout and Pgnd - I am using a rather thick cable so I should not have issue with current limitation.

Can you suggest what might be the issue? should i daisy chain with short cables to rest of Vout terminal conenctions as I am using only one set see pic1 showing DC load connection and pic to showing TPSM846C23DEVM-807 output and input conenctions. Please advise on any ideas to try get to increase curretn to at least 45A.

Regards

Rony
