LM4132: LDO LM4132 Ref pin voltage ratings

Part Number: LM4132

Hello,

We are using LDO LM4132 SOT-23 pack in our design. This is used to power up MCU. Our assembly line uses a programmer to flash MCU.This programmer applies 3.3V on VDD pin of MCU.This voltage appears on Vref pin of LDO. This time, Vin at LDO input wouldnt be available. Does it affect reliability of LDO?

thanks

Shanoj

  • Hi Shanoj,

This LM4132 is a voltage reference that is typically used on ADCs and thus it has no sink current capabilities or reverse current protection capabilities. Having a voltage at the output pin while the device is in shutdown can affect the reliability of this device.
