Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SM320F28335-EP
Hi TI AE,
I have a few questions on the voltage tolerances of each device (MCU, Watchdog IC, and LDO) all from Texas Instruments. It seems that we have wide tolerance on the TPS3306 Vsense which can affect performance due to unintentional resets.
Supervisor IC: TPS3306
MCU IC: sm320f28335-ep
LDO IC: TPS767D301
The supply voltage output of the LDO over laps with the tolerances of the watchdog. This ultimately affects potentially low percentage of our units with unintentional resets that is unacceptable in a complete system case. We are trying to size the resistors, and adjust the supply voltage of our current design to have the right thresholds.
Can you support by giving us a Histogram of the Output Voltages of the LDO (ATE Lot Data for example and or DOE); and Histogram of Vsense Voltages for the TPS3306 part. We will need to depend on this data to ensure we have Zero Margin of Error.
Thanks,
Saif
