BQ34Z100-G1: Lead crystal battery ID

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCCHEM

Hello,

I'm looking for a chemical ID for a Lead crystal battery, 6-HCNFJ-7.2.

We will be using 3 of them in a series configuration. Is a chem ID for such a battery already available, of do we need to send samples to TI? We have spare batteries which we can send to TI.

Thanks.

  • Hi Wesley,

Please use the GPCCHEM tool to find a chemID match. Since these are lead crystal batteries, if no match is available after successfully utilizing the tool, we may be able to characterize them at TI.

The tool may be found here: http://www.ti.com/tool/gpcchem
The user guide for the tool may be found here: www.ti.com/.../slva725

Please note: The instructions for the chemID cycle include time estimates for the rest periods of typical lithium ion cells. The rest periods for Lead Acid or 'Lead Crystal' batteries may be longer. It is imperative that the batteries fully rest before performing the next step of the cycle.

    Sincerely,
    Bryan Kahler
