CCS/LP8758-E0EVM: Cannot connect to Evaluation board

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I purchased the LP8758-E)EVM module and tried to connect to the USB port using a Windows 10 64 bit machine. The GUI software starts but I cannot connect to the module. It appears as thought there is no device driver included in the GUI software. How do I obtain a device driver?

Hi Barry,

There should not be a need for any additional device driver. GUI software uses HID windows driver and should work just plugging USB cable in.
Can you check did windows recognizes USB from windows device manager? There should appear under human interface devices some HID /USB lines when usb cable is plugged in.

There was an issue with the EVM board sees as though the I2C wasn't working properly.

Hi Barry,

Where you able to fix I2C issue? Was SCL/SDA missign completely or what was the root cause?
