Hi there,

I am looking for DC-DC Boost Converter with below requirements.

Vin: 19V, Vout: 22V, Iout (Max): 1.5A

I take note of TPS40210 and MC34063A.

May I know do you have any good DC-DC (with integrated FET) recommendations?

    The TPS61175 is an integrated switch boost that would be the best for this application.  However, it only runs up to 18V input on its control input, but the power stage input can be any voltage.  So, if you have a separate voltage rail in your system (12V, 5V, 15V), then you could power the Vin of the IC with that and connect the inductor input to your 19V.  If you don't have another voltage, you can build a simple linear regulator as is done in figure 1 in this app note: http://focus.ti.com/lit/an/slva384/slva384.pdf

    Hello Philip,

    The MC34063A has peak current limitation of 1.5A.

    The peak switch current in a boost regulator is higher than the output current; therefore the MC34063A does not have enough current drive for this application.
