LM3509: LM3509 Parallel Connection of Current Sinks MAIN and SUB/FB

Hi,
I am working on a design that uses the LM3509. An LCD that we are integrating has four anode connections and one cathode connection. In order to realize a higher current capability, can the MAIN and SUB/FB pins both be connected to the single cathode pin? I see that this would likely also require setting the device to unison mode, but will it work otherwise?

yes, paralleling the current sinks is a standard application for this type of LED driver. Unison mode would give slightly better matching between current sinks, but this configuration could also work in independent control mode.
