I'm looking for a Li-Ion/Multi chemistry battery charger/PMIC with provision to power load while charging the battery (I believe this is referred to as power path control ). The Battery connected to this PMIC may be charged via USB or An external Li-Ion battery.

    Hi Jensen,

    There are several options depending on how many rails you want. If you just want a charger which puts out a single voltage to your system for use, there are a ton of options depending on what is valuable to your design (low Iq, high current, etc): www.ti.com/.../overview.html

    If you are looking for a charger integrated with multiple voltage regulators, there are a few options. TPS65720 is a smaller PMIC with charger vs. TPS65070 which has more rails for example. There are ~20 PMICs (charger + multiple additional regulators) with chargers though many require factory programming for default voltages which is generally only available for large volume opportunities (TPS80032 for example).
