Hi

Our customer is considering PMP9175 for their design and the following question is coming out.

1.
There are two FET like following figure and Q5 is DNP.

What is the purpose to be reserved Q5 as DNP in the schematic?

2.
CSD17527Q5A (Q3) is used in TPS23753AEVM-235.
CSD17551Q3A (Q7) is used in PMP9175 design.
CSD17551Q3A seems to have smaller rated current and power dissipation than CSD17527Q5A.
Is there any reason why CSD17551Q3A is selected in PMP9175 instead of CSD17527Q5A?

Do you have answer?

BestRegards
