Hi,

I have a question regarding the TPS259230 efuse model, I am getting a simulation error and I wonder if you would be able to provide some insights...

The time domain simulation generates the error: "models:vcvs_behavioral3(error): log10: arg<=0. Results unpredictable"

I tried to trace the violation in the .lib file and I think it’s coming from a logarithmic operation. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks to reaching out to us.
I have downloaded the PSpice transient model from web and checked the model in PSpice and TINA-TI. It seems to be working fine in both PSpice and TINA . Could you please let us know which simulator you are using?It will also be helpful if you could share the schematic.

Hi Ayan,

Thank you for following up with me. The simulator that I am using is from ANSYS Electronics Desktop. The circuit simulator should be able to handle SPICE, PSPICE and HSPICE models.

Currently we are providing support for TINA or PSpice version 15.7 and up only. You can try http://www.ti.com/product/TPS25923/toolssoftware for the PSpice model.

Hi Ayan,

Thank you for your suggestions, I will experiment a little more with these simulators.

Just out of curiosity, is my circuit above wired correctly?

Hi Ayan,

Is there a way to import the model TPS259230_TRANS.lib (which was distributed to me) into the TINA simulator? It seems like only built-in components could be simulated... Please advise.
