For testing Vil/Vih of PS/SYNC what parameter I should monitor to confirm the test is passed.

Hi Shankar,

If a voltage of 0.4V or lower is applied to PS/SYNC the PS/SYNC is considered to be pulled low, means that power save mode is enabled.

If a voltage of 1.2V or higher is applied, PS/SYN is pulled high, ie power save mode disabled.

My query is how to validate power save mode enabled or disabled?hope my query is clear to you ,please let me know?

This can be checked by monitoring the switching frequency. In PWM mode the frequency is constant, typically 2.4MHz, and lower in PFM mode.
this can also be quickly checked by observing the output ripple, in PFM mode the ripple is higher than in forced PWM mode.
