TPS53315: TPS53315 EN pin absolute maximum voltage less than VIN?

Part Number: TPS53315

Reading the latest version of the datasheet for the TPS53315, it lists an absolute maximum voltage for the EN pin as 7V. Is this right?

Other devices I've come across list their absolute maximum voltages as VIN + some offset (e.g. 0.6/1.2V), and often show or allow EN to be tied to VIN directly.

This would not be an issue if I was using VIN of, say, 5V, but I plan to use 12V (part of the reason I'm interested in this chip).

Am I required to set up another device on my board just to drive this pin, or is the datasheet mistaken?

The input current on EN is listed at 1uA -- is there a better solution than just adding another regulator to drive the pin at a different voltage?
